It's pretty.... stinky!

What is white and black and lays in the middle of the road? A skunk! This particular skunk was laying in the middle of State street also known as M-123 it was about 5:30a.m. I had already driven through the most secluded wilderness part of my drive and had not seen one specks of bright eyes looking at me from the road, yet here in the middle of state street with its rear end towards me there it was a large skunk freshly hit. I am told if you are the one who hits it, it doesnt stink. Of course I was the second one to hit the poor skunk so my car was the lucky one. Work wasn't too far away at that point so I thought maybe the smell would fade a little down the road. I went into work not thinking anything of it. Upon returning to my car that afternoon I was reminded ever so kindly about the events of the morning as I opened the car door the nauseating smell of skunk permemated every membrane in my nose. I called my dad to see how to get the smell out and of course being Mr. Humorous himself roared with laughter and kindly informed me it would fade in a few days. Just two days later when the scent should finally fade, I was driving down Highway 33 and out of nowhere I see bright eyes running straight for my car low to the ground. I tried to stop to let what ever creature it maybe cross the road safely but instead I hear a squeal and a thud. Who moves the the U.P. and hits two skunks in less than one week. Pretty? No not the skunks they are stinky!
